I think what fascinates me more than the art is the person behind the art. When I look at certain art pieces I always seem to wonder what inspired that artist to create such a piece? Now that my studio is located in the Magoski Arts Colony in downtown Fullerton, I have been coming across artist all the time, BUT I have been doing a bad job of introducing myself to them. SO, right now I decided I want to make a change, I need to become more pro active. I want to do my part to help expose artists that want to be known.
The PLAN:
To take advantage of my surroundings. In our art colony we have several different artist that consistently display their work, I want to start at my studio and work my way throughout Fullerton getting to know who’s who. I really want to use video as my medium for this type of exposure. Fullerton is a growing community of artists and so I’m looking forward to meeting some really rad and interesting people.
